The Start
Blackwave is a small software development and IT services company based in
London, England. The company was started in January 2002. Initially Blackwave
concentrated on developing Pocket PC applications. As the company has matured
it has moved into other products and services.
The Products
Blackwave currently has a small range of software applications in its
portfolio. Our applications are targetted at the scuba diving market, with a number of applications
for Pocket PCs and PCs. The flagship product is the Dive Assistant, a
tool for logging,
planning, profiling and managing dives, managing dive kit and dive tables. Dive

As well as developing and distributing computer software, Blackwave also
provides companies and individuals with IT consulting services. Blackwave can
develop and integrate customized software solutions for the Windows and Pocket

Dive Assistant
Dive Assistant is the home for Blackwave's scuba diving products and services. Dive
Assistant markets and sells the scuba diving software developed and distributed
by Blackwave, as well as providing the Dive Site Finder. Dive Site Finder is a dive
site database, providing divers with useful information about dive sites around

Shout Safe is a free online event and disaster communication service. It allows
